Chris Linder
Center Director
Chris Linder, associate professor of Higher Education in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy, is the center's inaugural director. Chris' research interests focus on sexual violence on college campuses and student activism. Prior to becoming faculty, Chris worked for 10 years as a campus victim advocate. Chris' most recent scholarship on relationship and sexual violence includes the book "Sexual Violence on Campus: Power-Conscious Approaches to Awareness, Prevention, and Response," published in 2018. Additionally, she co-edited the book, "Intersections of Identity and Sexual Violence on Campus," published in 2017. In her spare time, Chris enjoys cooking and running in the mountains.

Whitney is the associate director for education at the center. Whitney is an alumna of The University of Utah and has worked in several student support positions on campus since graduating. In these positions, Whitney was able to make direct connections between her feminist theory coursework, student experience, and access in higher education specifically related to power. Whitney is passionate about ending sexual violence on campus through creative educational approaches. In her free time, Whitney can be found hanging out with her sassy son, reading, drinking coffee, meandering at a local bookstore or seeing a movie at the Broadway. 

Brooke Adams

Brooke Adams
Associate Director, Marketing & Communications
Brooke Adams is the center's associate director for marketing and communication. She is a three-time graduate of the U., with bachelor degrees in communication and media studies and ethnic studies, and a master’s degree in human development and social policy. She previously worked as a senior national communications strategist, executive communications manager, public information officer and newspaper reporter and editor. Brooke is a fan of women's soccer and loves to read. 

Allie Moore

Allie Moore
Graduate Assistant
Allie Moore is the center’s graduate assistant. Allie became an undergraduate student staff member at the center in August 2020, while she was working on bachelor degrees in writing and rhetorical studies and gender studies. Allie is now pursuing a master’s degree in the public administration program at the University of Utah. In her free time, Allie likes to snowboard and, in summer, hike to waterfalls.
